Tips
For Tick Removal
Use a pair of fine-tipped tweezers to dislodge the tick.
Grab the tick by the mouth or head and pull directly outward. You must do this quickly so as not to crush or irritate the tick into releasing harmful bacteria into your pet’s bloodstream. Place the tick in a jar of alcohol to kill it.
Cleanse the bite wound with a disinfectant.
A small local reaction (like a bump) may occur.
Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after you remove the tick.
